Support services
I2BC scientists benefit from the support of these I2BC services to help them carry out their research activities as efficiently as possible.
General operation support services
Finance service
This service is in charge of preparing, implementing and controlling the I2BC budget. It provides administrative and financial support to the research activities of the unit
Human Resources service
This service follows the careers of the unit staff and accompanies all staff members in their different administrative undertakings. It is also in charge of continuing education for all unit staff.
Real Estate & Maintenance service
This service ensures the smooth running of the I2BC’s research buildings. To support the I2BC’s development, it also supervises construction work required to ensure the efficiency of scientific activities or to meet new needs.
Health and Safety service
Thanks to the collective commitment of the health and safety engineer, prevention assistants, radiation protection specialists, first-aid workers, evacuation officers and waste management officers, I2BC guarantees a safer working environment for all.
Scientific support services
Communication service
The service develops and implements the Institute’s communication strategy. It participates in the promotion of the Institute’s research and technological platforms via all communication channels.
Computing and Scientific Computing service
This service is responsible for setting up and maintaining the IT infrastructure required for the unit’s activities, from user workstations to computing clusters and scientific workstations.
Biology Preparation service
This service provides I2BC staff with high-quality materials and solutions for their various research protocols.
Means of Cultivation and Greenhouses service
This service provides scientists working on plants with the environment and means to carry out their research.
Equipment Fleet Management service
This service keeps the I2Bc equipment inventory and reservation system up to date, with a view to optimizing the fleet.
