The MOCA Lab seeks to uncover the principles governing microtubule organization and how they shape cellular architecture and function by integrating in vitro reconstitution with in-cell approaches.
We study the molecular mechanisms that control microtubule nucleation, release and anchoring, and how these processes are regulated in cells. Our research combines biochemical reconstitution, structural biology and quantitative cell biology to investigate how microtubule networks are established and maintained.
